I've got an ATI RAGE128 in my Vista test machine, which is less than ideal. I could live with the poor performance, however, if I could get the refresh rate up from its current eye-gouging flicker.
I've only got the Standard VGA Graphics Adapter driver, which only lists the hardware default for the monitor.
I tried to install the ATI Rage Windows XP driver, but that failed.
I saw someone say that Windows Update gave them a new driver for a Rage card, but Windows Update also reports that it can't check for updates (error 8007000D).
Any suggestions (short of buying a new card)?
Thanks, Eric
